Honeymoon House Warming

When my husband and I got married and moved into our first place together, we had some hand-me-down furniture from our parents and whatever people had gotten us as wedding gifts.  What we didn't have was the basic essentials of our pantry (flour, sugar, salt, pepper, etc.).  So it was a wonderful surprise when we got back from our honeymoon to find that our fridge and cupboard had been filled with some of these basics.  It saved us a lot of time and money not having to buy things like mustard and butter, and they even threw in some Pasta-Roni and a frozen pizza for meals until we made it to the grocery store ourselves. Also, grocery store gift cards were such a life saver after we overspent on our honeymoon.
